Rotary Club of Stratford Anniversary Celebration, June 16

On Thursday, June 16, 2022, the Rotary Club of Stratford had its official 100th anniversary celebration at Stratford City Hall, hosted by the City of Stratford. Rotarians attended between 11:30am and noon for a BBQ social.

Then, at 1:00pm, community members joined them to have a cupcake to celebrate 100 years of Stratford Rotary.

“The Rotary Club of Stratford is so much a part of this community,” said President Ken Nesbitt. “It seems only fitting to have everyone out to celebrate with us - and have a piece of cake to celebrate!”

“We are so pleased to host the Rotary Club of Stratford celebration at City Hall,” said Stratford Mayor Dan Mathieson. “During my time on City Council and as Mayor I’ve seen first hand the great work that Rotary does, within Stratford and beyond. I’m happy we can celebrate with them as a community.”

On January 27th, 2022, Ken Nesbitt President - Stratford Rotary Club kicked off the 100th Year of Stratford Rotary Club. Due to the ongoing pandemic at the time, the meeting was held via Zoom. Click below for the recorded segments of the meeting.
