Rotary Club of Stratford’s International Committee

The mandate of the Rotary Club of Stratford’s International Committee is to involve our club, with another Rotary club, in another country, in a project that makes the world a better place.
Often the project can involve other Rotary clubs, as well as other Rotary districts in a project that makes a difference.
We use the Areas of Focus as promoted by the Rotary Foundation as our guide when selecting the projects that we support. These areas are:
A. Polio plus

B. Areas of focus:
  • promoting peace
  • providing clean water
  • saving mothers and children
  • supporting education
  • growing local economies
  • fighting disease
  • environmental - climate change
We are also asked to consider the environment when planning our projects.
