Finish the Task. Wear the Mask.
Our goal is to have everyone in our community wear a mask in public and to promote all Public Health measures for COVID-19 prevention.
This mask will best help you to prevent spread of COVID virus to other people even if you are asymptomatic and vice versa. Remember this virus is very infective on any public surfaces.
Our mask
This mask is made in Stratford by volunteer sewers with the assistance of a local manufacturer SewWear in Brunner. Dr Doug Thompson and Wendy Wilkinson (Costumer/Tailor) have collaborated to develop a style of mask that is easy on and off, universal fitting, comfortable with ear loop elastics, water-resistant, washable materials and breathable.. The outer layer is a polyester cotton blend and the inner a soft cotton knit.
Care and use instructions for your mask
![]() |
Wash the mask in warm water and detergent after 8 to 12 hours of use. Wash your hands for 20 sec before putting on and taking off your mask. Do not touch your face or adjust mask unless you wash your hands first. Store the mask in a paper bag with inner part folded in. Handle the mask by the straps. |
We’re in this together …
Remember to practice physical distancing measures, hand washing, wear your mask in public always and follow the Huron Perth Health Unit directives.
