The Rotary Club of Mitchell is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a district-wide service project during the District Conference. We invite you to join us in making a significant impact on families in need within our communities.

We've named our initiative "Little Blessings, Big Impact - Diapers (& more) Drive," reflecting our goal of providing essential supplies to infants and toddlers in Perth County. We will be collecting diapers, formula, baby toiletries, and other necessary items to be distributed to the Salvation Army and the House of Blessing, two vital organizations that directly support local families.

 

We understand that every club has its unique strengths and resources. Therefore, we're offering two ways to participate:

· Bring Donations: We encourage clubs to collect and bring physical donations of diapers, formula, baby wipes, baby shampoo, and other baby-related necessities to the District Conference.

· Monetary Donations: If bringing physical items is challenging, you can contribute financially. We will use these funds to purchase the most needed items.

 

To add an element of friendly competition and encourage maximum participation, we are launching the "Little Blessings, Big Impact" Challenge! The Rotary Club that donates the most combined items (or equivalent monetary value) will be recognized during the District Conference. Let's see which club can make the biggest impact!

 

Many families in our community struggle to provide basic necessities for their young children. Your contributions will directly alleviate this burden and bring much-needed relief and support.

 

· Donation drop-off will be available throughout the District Conference at a designated location.

· Monetary donations can be submitted at the Registration by way of cash, cheque or etransfer

· Things Needed – Diapers sizes 4, 5, 6, Pull-Ups, Unscented wipes, Similac, Emfamil, Good Start formula, Stage One Baby food and snacks, Baby Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, baby shampoo, wash

We believe that together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable families. We look forward to seeing you at the District Conference and working alongside you to create "Little Blessings, Big Impact" a successful project
